A/N - Oh my gosh guys I am so sorry it has taken so long to update this. It has been over a month! So sorry. I have been really busy. I had my mums birthday, then we went to Disney which was AMAZING and I saw Woody and Jessie on the castle *dead*. Then it was my birthday and we have been seeing a load of shows and then I had mock exams then Phantom of the Opera at the weekend. I now finally have the time to give you this! But it isn't as bad as Follow Your Heart.....I haven't....updated it....since August.....*slowly walks away* I am really sorry about that! I didn't realise until a few weeks ago! I have done some updates on chapters though. I advise you all read Chapter 4 again. It will be vital for you all to read that. I will try and do it as quickly as possible, the updates and the next chapter but with school I might be slow. Sorry!

Anyway, enjoy!

Chapter 3 -

Buzz and Woody arrived outside a small cottage with flowers of purple and green in pots either side of the steps. One of the front windows was open and the smell of beef stew and apple pie tickled their nostrils.
“Boy, Mira does know how to cook.” Buzz smiled.
“It does smell good.” Woody said inhaling some of the smell. “She is good to you.”
“I know,” Buzz smiled, “and I’m lucky I have someone as amazing as her. She is amazing to Ella too.”
“Yeah, she is. You can see they idolise each other.” Woody half smiled.
“I know Mira isn’t her mum, but sometimes I forget she isn’t. I feel bad for thinking that but it’s true.” Buzz let out a sigh.
“Hey, I’m sure your wife is up there watching you and is very proud of you.” Woody said placing hand on Buzz’s shoulder.
“I guess you’re right.” Buzz half smiled “Now let’s go in and see what she has cooked up for us.”

Buzz went on the few steps to get to the porch and once there he reached into his pocket and fumbled around until he found his keys. He pulled out a set on a gold ring and placed a silver one into the door. It clicked and opened. “You coming?” Buzz said stepping in and looking at Woody.
Woody jumped the steps and slid past Buzz. “Yeah.” He smiled.
Buzz punched his arm and laughed.
“Ow, that was a bit hard.” Woody said with laughter while rubbing his arm.
“Oh stop winging you baby.” Buzz laughed shutting the door.

Buzz and Woody turned to the right and entered a medium sized kitchen. There was a table with four chairs in the centre of the room with some flowers in a clear vase in the centre. There were some cupboards dotted around and a stove underneath the big kitchen window where Mira was standing wearing a yellow apron. Sat at the table was a small girl with long blonde hair which waved a bit towards the ends. She had blue eyes and was wearing a little blue dress while drawing but her eyes shot up as soon as she heard Woody and Buzz.

“Daddy!” She yelled dropping her pencil. She wriggled off the chair and ran over to him with her arms wide open.
“Hello sweetheart.” Buzz smiled bending down and picking her up into a hug. “Did you have a good day at school?”
“Yes! I learnt about the Indians today and how they make their homes.” She smiled at Buzz and looked at him with loving eyes.
“That sounds fun. You can tell me all about it later.” Buzz smiled putting her down.
“I thought I heard you two.” Mira said smiling.
“You obviously heard Woody winging.” Buzz chuckled walking over to her.
“I was not winging!” Woody protested. “And hello Ella.” Woody smiled looking down at the little girl titling his hat.
“H-hello Mr Pride.” Ella blushed and ran back to her seat.
“Looks like someone’s gone shy.” Mira laughed making Ella let out a small giggle.

Buzz wrapped his arms around Mira and smiled at her, “I missed you this afternoon Mira, I was stuck with winging boy over there.”
“Aw Buzz; I’m sure he wasn’t that bad.” Mira smiled wrapping her arms around his neck.
Buzz muffled a laugh before leaning down to kiss Mira. They stood kissing leaving Woody standing awkwardly in the doorway. Ella looked up at Woody and smiled shyly.
“Yeah, I want to enjoy my dinner and not feel sick guys.” He said crossing his arms.
Mira pulled away from Buzz and looked at Woody, “Oh sorry Woody, forgot you were there for a second.”
“More like ten years.” Woody said as he pulled out a chair and sat down.
“I see what you mean by him winging.” Mira said giving Woody a wink.
“Aw he is just jealous he doesn’t have a girlfriend to kiss.” Buzz chuckled as he to pulled up a chair and sat down.
“Unlike you Buzz, I do not have the time to have a relationship and spend my days snogging someone.” Woody grumbled.
“Oh stroppy.” Buzz teased.

Woody crossed his arms and sat back in his chair. ‘Unlike some people love isn’t the first thing on my list. I have a whole town to look after.’
Ella smiled to herself as she coloured in some of the paper.
“What are you drawing?” Woody questioned leaning forward to look Ella’s drawing.
“It’s me and my mummy. Mira helped me draw her.” She turned the paper around to show Woody.
“Is your mummy an angel?” Woody questioned looking at her.
“Yeah. She is wearing the angel dress and has a halo on her head see.” She pointed at the halo. “And she is holding my hand and telling me that I will be blessed with a new mummy.” Ella smiled and looked over at Mira. “My new mummy is Mira.” Ella whispered gently to Woody.
“Is your mummy saying anything to you?” Woody whispered back.
Ella nodded and looked at Buzz before returning her gaze to Woody. “Shh, don’t tell anyone,” her voice was low and her eyes bright with excitement, “she is telling me daddy and Mira will get married soon and I will be a big sister.”
“Oh is she?” Woody questioned looking over at Buzz with a smug smile on his face.
Buzz’s cheeks went a little red. Sure he had proposed and everything but setting a date was the issue for him. He was always too busy with Woody to settle down and make a date and Mira was always busy working in the weapon shop.
“I’m sure it won’t be too long Ella.” Woody said returning his gaze back to Ella. “And I’m sure your Mother is very proud of you.” He gave her a wink and sat back in the chair.

Mira opened one of the cupboards and pulled out some bowls placing one in front of each of them. She returned to another draw pulling out some spoons and placed them beside the bowls.
“What have you been up to Mira?” Buzz questioned gazing over to Mira.
“After I left you two I went into town and got some food then decided to work on the garden before I picked Ella up. Then we did a bit of homework before I started on the dinner.” She said picking up the pot and placing it on the table.
“I helped with dinner!” Ella shouted with a smile.
“Yes you were a great help cutting the carrots for me.” Mira smiled gently.
“Wow, you actually done the garden?” Buzz teased.
Mira glared at him, “Yes thank you. I did.”
Buzz laughed, “Oh Mira, I’m only teasing you.”
She stuck her tongue out and started to dish up the stew before joining them at the table where they all started to eat in silence, only the slurping of each person to be heard.

“Well Miss Nova, that was splendid.” Buzz smiled placing the spoon into the empty bowl.
“Isn’t it always?” Mira chuckled standing up and picking up hers and Buzz’s plates.
“It sure is! And I can’t wait for some apple pie!” Buzz rubbed his hands together.
“And who says it is for you Mr Lightyear? It might just be for Woody and Ella.”
“I do.” Buzz smiled.
“You’ll never say that.” Woody mumbled to himself.
Buzz kicked him under the table causing Woody to stare at him in shock.
“Ow! What the heck was that for?” He bent down and rubbed his ankle while glaring at Buzz.
“I heard what you said!” Buzz replied angrily to Woody.
“You two stop it.” Mira said crossing her arms. “Even the five year old boys at Ella’s school behave better than you two. You’re meant to be law people, not flipping children.”
Buzz and Woody remained silent while glaring at each other occasionally as Mira washed up some of the dishes.

Ella yawned and placed down her spoon. She stretched and rubbed her eyes.
“Uh-oh, looks like someone is tired.” Buzz said standing up.
“I’m not tired!” Ella protested, fighting back another yawn.
“Yes you are. Why don’t you go to bed?”
“I want some apple pie!” She looked up at Buzz, “And I want to tell you about the Indians.”
Buzz stroked her cheek and gave her a small smile, “How about you lay down for a bit and if you fall asleep you can tell me about it tomorrow. And I’ll make sure Woody doesn’t eat all the pie.”
Woody let out a sarcastic laugh and had to restrain himself from doing a hand gesture to Buzz.
Ella slowly slid off her chair, “Okay Daddy.” She said through another yawn.
“I’ll see you soon.” Buzz smiled as he watched his daughter walk out of the kitchen.

Woody finished up and picked up his and Ella’s bowl and went over to Mira. “Thanks, it was lovely.”
“You’re welcome Woody.” Mira smiled taking the bowls off him.
Woody went and sat back down and noticed Buzz staring at him. “What? Why are you staring at me?”
“I was just thinking.” Buzz said.
“About what?” Woody questioned un-amused. Buzz had already annoyed him enough today, let alone with him staring at him for no reason.
“About what sort of girl you would go for.” Buzz smiled sitting back and crossing his arms.
Mira burst out laughing while Woody sat with a blank expression. ‘What is so funny about that?’ Woody thought to himself.
“Woody finding someone is like searching for a needle in a hay stack!”  Mira said calming her laughter.
“Ugh I know right?” Buzz began, “But if he were going to go for someone, what sort of girl do you think she would be?”
“Guys seriously, stop talking about me and my love life. I have other concerns.” Woody had a stern expression accompanied by a stern voice.
“Hmm, I reckon a girl who is on the rugged side. Not girly like his last girlfriend.” Mira turned to face them and leant against the counter.
“Yeah. Someone who would actually stand up against him if he told her she was wrong. And someone who could put him in his place.” Buzz said smirking at Woody. “I think he would get a kink out of a girl who stands up to him.”
“Seriously you two, stop discussing this.” Woody said through gritted teeth.
“She would have to be a girl he couldn’t handle well. Not someone who could be ordered about easily.”Mira said looking at Buzz.
Woody clenched his fists a little.
“Yeah, and someone who likes adventure and is rebellious.” Buzz smiled.
“Also someone is feisty.”
“And someone who is like him in some ways.” Buzz said smirking at Mira.
Mira smiled back as she caught on, “Bossy.”
“Stubborn.”
“Doesn’t like to admit they are wrong.”
“Has a bad temper.”
“Always thinks they are right.”

Woody slammed his fists on the table causing both Mira and Buzz to jump. “That’s it! I am going now!” He said shoving his chair back before slamming it back under the table.
“Oh come on Woody, we were only joking.” Buzz said.
Woody put his arms up, “Thank you very much for the meal Mira, but I am going to go now so I bid you goodbye and goodnight!”
He stormed into the hallway and out the front door, slamming it shut behind him. He jumped down the steps and proceeded to shove his hands in his pockets. With his head hung low, he mumbled about Buzz and Mira. “Flipping try and decide the girl I’d go for then have the cheek to insult me!”

Mira and Buzz were in silence for a few minutes. “I didn’t think he would react that badly.” Mira said looking down.
“Mira sweetheart, it wasn’t your fault.” Buzz said standing up and heading over to her.
She looked at him, “But I feel bad, he doesn’t usually react that bad when we lightly tease him.”
“Mira, Woody is under stress now, even though the problem hasn’t hit us yet.”
“I told him that it might not even hit.” Mira said with distaste.
“I know, but Woody being Woody is too stubborn to listen. That is why he needs a partner who will put him in his place.” Buzz said with dismay.
“It will take a miracle to find someone willing to take him on.” Mira said wrapping her arms around Buzz.
“I know. But I think Woody is married to his job rather than finding someone to marry.” Buzz said placing his hands on Mira’s hips.
“I’m glad I have found someone who cares for me more than his job.” Mira smiled leaning up to kiss Buzz.
“And I’m glad I am that person.” He said leaning down to make it easier for Mira to kiss him.
